If the child’s arm becomes fully straight over the hips, no matter the angle, the referee will stop the match immediately.
Kimura
If the arm is rotated beyond a safe range, especially when the elbow goes over the hip line, the referee will immediately stop the match.
Americana
The referee will closely observe the child’s reaction.
If the hips start lifting or the shoulder shows signs of pressure, the match will be stopped to ensure safety. |
Rear Naked Choke (RNC)
If the referee identifies that the choking arm is under the chin and the choke is clearly sinking in, the referee will prioritize the child’s safety and stop the match immediately, even if the child has not yet tapped.
Bow & Arrow Choke
The referee may stop the match early in the following situations:
-
The lapel is under the chin and the attacker is in a very good position to finish the choke.
-
The lapel is pulled across the chin (pressing hard on the jaw), causing pain or creating a risk of injury.
